In yesterday’s post I forgot to mention the IMPORTANT fact that YOU can participate in the Ave Maria Mural project. Here are the details:
North Dakota History Mural at Ave Maria
January 28, 10am – 4 pm

Come join the residents of Ava Maria to reminisce about North Dakota’s history while adding to the 30 foot long mural in the hallways of Ave Maria. Bring pictures of things to be painted into the scenery such as barns, houses, native animals, landmarks, and buildings. Together, with the artist’s guidance, the group will continue to add paint to the ever growing mural and build upon the layers of history here in North Dakota.
Well, how did the project go?
The Mural project went great. Good participation and lots of traffic through the Ave Maria hallway to check things out. Mr. Billy (the artist and project director William Hessian) said there is lots more room to add images – that the project can keep evolving – its a work in progress.
